Kumawood actress, Emelia Brobbey has said people hate her for reasons she does not know anything about.
According to the actress who was
speaking on Accra-based Accra FM, people try to deliberately have issues
with her even though she does not know what she has done to them.
“People hate me. I mean people try to
pick up issues and misunderstanding with me whiles I don’t know what I
have done to them. Sometimes I ask people that what have I done to
deserve that but they tell me maybe it’s because of people around me.”
On dealing with scandals, the movie
producer indicated that whenever she is challenged or there is a scandal
involving her, all she does is to look up to God because she has put
herself out there so she cannot stay away from such scandals.
She, however, used the opportunity to
render an apology to the general public and any individual who she has
directly or indirectly hurt.
On whether she was arrogant or not, the
actress said “I am not arrogant, but in a human institution, you may
step on some toes. But people who know me will tell you I have time for
my fans and I am not arrogant”.
Emelia Brobbey is currently promoting
her new movie, ‘Adanfo Bone’ which features some of Kumawood’s big
talents including Akrobeto, Lilwin and Bill Asamoah.
