John Mahama insists he will not run for presidency again after losing to Nana Addo

   President John Dramani Mahama, the outgoing president of Ghana, seems determined to take a leave from presidential conquests after losing to the New Patriotic Party's Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in a historic defeat.

He seems well resolved against running for presidency in Ghana to the great disappointment of those clamouring for him to contest for the 2020 slot of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to a report by AtinkaFMOnline.com, John Mahama revealed to a group of his close associated that, despite being humbled with calls for him to run again, he has decided against putting himself up as the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress in 202.

This statement cements Mahama's position but goes contrary to comments by some NDC stalwarts who have expressed their desire to see Mahama contest the seat he just lost to Nana Addo again in 2020.

The first was the Minister of Sports and Member of Parliament (MP) for Odododiodoo, Nii Lante Vanderpuije in an interview on Starr 103.FM.
